The Hutong (2017)

Sometime in the near future, a woman (le habitué) enters an XR (extended reality) escape room designed to allow her to dilute her inner demons. Things however quickly spiral out of control when the AI program managing the XR protocol takes on a mind and life of its own in the guise of a maniacal cybermnemonic host by the name of Dr. Plentharium. And as the AI expresses its own sense of desire and loneliness as well as awareness of its own existence, it draws her into a game of cat and mouse amongst the Hutongs and alleyways of her mind.
