In Other Words (2009)

Jeremy is a high school student who has been deaf since the age of three. Haunted by a traumatic experience from his past, he begins to shut down at school. In a last ditch effort to help him, his mother sends him to a private school that integrates special needs students with typical students. There he encounters Lenora, a blind girl whose outgoing personality draws his attention and eventually wins his heart. However, their inability to communicate in a conventional manner challenges them to find creative means of expressing themselves to enter each others' world, proving that love knows no barrier.
