Enmeshed

Anthony is a working actor who finds himself under an enabling trance with his close friend, Ryan. The two like to party and do drugs together. This catches up to Anthony one day and he is fired from an important job which Ryan instigates. We truly meet Anthony in the office of his drug addiction counselor, Mrs. Schultz. She works Anthony through the process of cleansing his life of negative people, finally forcing him to acknowledge Ryan's influence over him. She references a time when Ryan left Anthony for dead during an overdose. Anthony returns, after the meeting, to his home only to find Ryan has been squatting and treating the place like his personal bachelor pad. This ignites a fire inside of Anthony and the two eventually come to blows. This leads to a terrible accident which forces Anthony to make the decision of whether or not to save Ryan's life.
