Quetzacoatl and the Magic Flute of Fire (2021)

In the first half of the documentary, artist Ruben Guzman (interviewed by Hershell West) shows off his "cartoneria" art and talks about its connection with his Aztec heritage. We also see him working in his studio, and working with youth in the Oakland area. In the second half, we visit the studio of Ernesto Olmos where he shows off his art, talks about a mural he has recently completed about his Mayan heritage, and plays us music on ceramic flutes he has made, including his "Magic Flute of Fire."
