Ember's dad refers to "hanky panky" and there's a joke about pruning, but no one seems to know what it's a euphemism for.

Ember uses a play on words, stating that a certain fire resident should get off their lazy "ash."

The other elements discriminate against fire people. This movie may be difficult for viewers and different race because the way how elements don't mix.

Ember explodes (literally) when she gets too stressed.

A couple sequence of peril, as the big waves broke the wall and characters are in danger.

It deals with racism and immigration.

Someone says to a fire character to go back to their area.

It is implied that Ember plans to end her own life, but Wade convinces her not to.
