Provo (2022)

Liz, an ex-Mormon drug addict living in Chicago, finds out her estranged and abusive father is on his deathbed in Provo, Utah. Liz's Mormon stepsister drops off a family heirloom their father left for Liz; a framed portrait of Joseph Smith. When Liz's clingy friend-with-benefits, Geoffrey, sees the portrait, he persuades Liz to take a road trip to Utah to confront her traumatic childhood.
