Abdel Taoudan was born in Tangier (Morocco), but always hoped to get a job in a country with a different sociopolitical context. He hated lacking freedom due to be ruled by King Hassan II. So he went to Almería (Spain) as a tourist and found work. For years, he travelled around Europe until he got a permanent working preliminary contract in Belgium. But he had to return to Spain to get a legal working license that was rejected to him because he lacked the contributions for less than a month. That got Abdel trapped in Spain against his own will, sleeping in the street and moving trough the Basque Country to sell second-hand books at prize of choice.
