The celebrated "Man Who Skied Down Everest", Yûichirô Miura, journeys into the Antarctic to find another mountain to challenge his skill. Skiing for Miura is more than sport or adventure, but rather an almost metaphorical task of testing his limits against nature's pinnacles. He seeks self-discovery through challenge, teamwork and perseverance. In this frozen wilderness he encounters storm, an almost fatal crevasse and even an avalanche which he manages to ride out, achieving finally his extraordinarily difficult goal.
