Under a landscape direction and a hypnotic Jazz track, we listen to the people from Toyah, Texas air their concerns about small-town life in the endangered and diverse Chihuahuan desert. Approaching the modern gaze of (9:16) aspect-ratio, we momentarily lapse into a unique façade of life in the desertic south.
