Painting Jane (2023)

When faced with the strenuous task of convincing her parents to move into assisted living, Jane, an art professor from Portland, feels powerless getting her stepfather Lou and mother Doris to come to terms with their declining health. Only wanting the best for her parents and the acceptance from her mother that she lacked growing up, Good Morning Miss America is about Jane's realization that no matter how much effort you put in, it may never be recognized by everyone, but it will be recognized by the people who matter most.
