The documentary film Radio Europe searches for cohesion in the European Union and takes a look at people from the different member states. In the film, we get to know Fabrice, a refugee from Cameroon living in Italy, Lucy, a South Korean food vendor living in Denmark, and Francesco, a millionaire from Italy, among others. These people hailing from all walks of life share their individual perspectives on the European Union and their personal thoughts on home and identity. These exciting and diverse perspectives create a mosaic-like film and an intercultural dialogue between the protagonists. It will shed light on the underlying social issues in relation to human rights, diversity and inclusion, cultural identities, immigration challenges, socio-economic inequalities, and inept governance that citizens, immigrants, asylum seekers, and foreign workers struggle with on a daily basis. Our purpose is to shift the focus and power to the people by giving them a platform and a voice to express their convictions on how leaders, organizations, individuals, and their communities can help blur the borders between countries to create a diverse, sustainable, and better perspective of the European Union.
