Hear Mrs. Weber (1989)

This farce describes the sagging fortunes of a retirement home, whose proprietor, Mrs. Weber, treats the residents to elaborate dinners, liquors and wines. Eventually, she drives the home into bankruptcy. To raise money to pay off the house's mortgage, the daffy and idiosyncratic residents decide to rob a race track. They succeed in stealing several million dollars from the track, but promise, of course, to pay the money back.
