The first ever " Human Zoo" in Taiwan took place on the riverfront flood land in Taipei. The unregulated art gathering rose against the mainstream art events . Who were they? Legendary stories of the initiator, Evan Jhuang was discussed and spread by artists for around 3 years. . He chose to drop out of his university in its first year, roved with artistic works, acted against mainstream virtues, and kept developing peculiar ideas into practice. In order to challenge traditional ways of art exhibition and to make art happen actively in any corner of the city, especially on the street, he formed an artistic group called "Wild Youth." Every action of Wild Youth brought the members huge appreciation but also much criticism. "Human Zoo" was one of such actions which aimed at urging the society to face its own bizarreness and errors. This outdoor action took a whole day and featured in voluntary efforts, including three months of preparation. Even with sufficient sponsorship, internal debates and external controversies, young artists participated themselves in this mission impossible, tossing several questions regarding more than art to the society.
