Azrael (A Psychopomp) 2021 (2021)

It is late into the night when a man is driving by himself. While he is on his way, a stranger appears in the middle of the road suddenly. Before the protagonist can get his bearings, the latter disappears, leaving only an unusual note in his wake - one that carries information about the time and death of the protagonist. The idea of the Angel of Death has been established right at the beginning of the film. It is then him who becomes the real protagonist and the overarching preoccupation of the narrative as it carries out a simultaneous engagement with the dynamics of relationships, fidelity, couples, and the eventual culmination of all of these concerns in violent developments.
