Boxes & Blankets (2021)

'Boxes and Blankets' is a coming-of-age short film about a young girl named Lily and her Mum and Dad as they all struggle following the death of Lily's 8-year-old sister Mia and get ready to move to a new house. In her grief Lily spends time with the memory of Mia in a box-fort they made together, a gateway to her fantasy world. However, the impending movie forces her to pack up the fort, symbolically leaving Mia behind forever. As Lily and her family struggle in denial of what has passed, they begin their journey to acceptance.
