218: Behind the Wall of Silence (2021)

Aisha, who lost her mother because of domestic violence, lives with her abusive father and 2 brothers in isolation in a village house after moving out from the city seven years ago. Following her mother's death, Aisha decides to reproach the owner of the building "Abu Fadel" and "Mansour" (a musician and one of her childhood friends) who stood as observers despite learning about her mother's torment 7 years ago in apartment 318 and did nothing to help. Salama is a social media influencer, works as an investment company representative. We see her negotiate to buy the old building owned by Abu Fadel, who is going through a financial crisis. She convinces him to rent out apartment 218 for one month to assess the living conditions of the building before finalizing the purchase contract. Latifa is a simple and optimistic social media influencer who is passionate about the art of gardening. She tries to help her isolated neighbour Aisha from her controlling and abusive father.
