Ginhawa (2020)

Two filmmakers leave their homes during the time of the lockdown, hoping to be able to put together a documentary film. "Breathe" is about people who express their faith through a Lenten ritual with the hopes that the virus will be gone. It also features frontliners in the medical field and a restaurant owner who made it her mission to feed the police force. Capping the film are fisherfolks who humor their apprehensions and make us realize that they, in a way, are better off because they do not have much to lose and just as long as we keep on breathing then all will be alright.
