"Once Upon a Time in Hungarian Comics" provides a comprehensive picture of Hungarian comic culture, touching on the history of comics from the beginning to the present day, focusing on the development of Hungarian comics. Our film guides the viewer from the early attempts of comics initially published in newspapers, as well as to the current world of Hungarian comics. We also cover the motivation of Hungarian comic book publishers and creators, and their commitment to the media. The past and present of the comic book fair, which has a long tradition, will also be discussed, with the speech of Tamás Harza, the main organizer and comic book publisher. Hungarian comics authors comment on comics as a way of living. Speakers will also discuss the possible future of comics as a medium.
