Orkestret (1967)

A band has come down a bit, now reduced to playing second-rate music at cafés in places like spa hotels for an audience that is rarely listening. Between pieces, and sometimes during them, they gossip and bicker, riven by jealousies and dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, hotel manager Lebonze stomps in and out very noisily, expressing his feelings instead of being discreetly managerial as normally expected. TV adaptation of Anouilh's 1962 black comedy.
