An irritable Italian man named Paulie faces increasing hardships throughout his day as everything that could go wrong for him, does go wrong. He misses his train, loses his job, gets humiliated by his boss, embarrasses himself in front of a passer-by, injures his foot, gets caught trying to pickpocket and gets punched in the face.
