Anatol (1969)

Vienna in 1890. Anatol seeks out his friend, Max, to ask him to keep his love letters from Annie and Gabriele, from Ilona and Bianca etc. Anatol intends to start his love life all over again, but Max sees an opportunity to deflate his friend. TV adaptation of act 3 - "Episode" - from Schnitzler's seven act play from 1893, depicting the many shallow and immature relationships of bourgeois playboy Anatol.
