River City

This short film is a love letter to the teenagers growing up in Brisbane. To every highschooler who feels misunderstood, this is a film for them. It is a coming-of-age drama about a boy and a girl - Justin (17) and Paige (16) - who attend the most affluent school in Brisbane. They walk very different paths in life but are the unlikeliest of best friends. On their own and together, they are tasked with finding out who they really are and who they want to be, whilst doing their best not to get caught up in their own selfishness or chasing clout that at the end of the day, doesn't really matter. This proof of concept - a 6 minute short film - tells the story of how Justin and Paige became best friends. It is the tale of their friendship's origins. It's their beginning.
