The film tells about the life and multifaceted legacy of Mirza Fatali Akhundzadeh, who left an indelible mark in the history of Azerbaijani and Middle Eastern literature, the founder of Azerbaijani drama, a great public figure. The film depicts 3 periods of the playwright's life - childhood, youth and old age. The film is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Mirza Fatali Akhundov.
