The day before an important audition, young actress Danaé is trying to learn her lines. In the raging heat, her concentration and focus quickly subside, as everyone in town seems to have better plans. House parties, going to and watching the Dutch football team play in the Euros. While Danaé is struggling with her lines and her audition creeps nearer, the hot city keeps imposing on her.
