Strange Boats on Strange Waters

A young Filipino artist living in Los Angeles starts experiencing hallucinatory visions and past experiences of the pain and trauma of his Filipino ancestors. This leads him to start following and watching an American cowboy bounty hunter who is mindlessly and vacuously hunting and killing Filipino immigrants. The movie cuts back and forth with war and flashback scenes of the Philippine-American War. A full feature film with no dialogue, visually inspired by Too Old to Die Young, Twin Peaks: The Return, and The Harder They Fall. The movie is almost 100 minutes, slow cinema inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky films.
