Homeopathy (2022)

Sami is 29 years old a mechanical engineer and lives with his flatmate Enes (31) in Istanbul . After the official announcement of the first corona virus case in Turkey, like many employees, Sami and Enes switched to home office work. Even though it seems pleasant at first to work and spend time at home, both the uncertainty about the virus that the whole world is fighting in panic and the fact that they are stuck at home creates an existential pain in Sami. On the one hand, he focuses on the effect of the virus on young people by looking at the reports of various health institutions and universities on the pandemic, on the other hand, he is interested in what precautions pre-modern medicine people took at such times. Sami, who came across the method of homeopathy as a result of his research, believes that he can solve all the uncertainty and existential pain he is in by defeating this virus. He catches the virus by going to the nearest hospital to his home by taking all his precautions and stocking up all the medicines he will need during the quarantine process. After leaving home Enes, who does not want to take such a risk, Sami is now alone against all the risks he has taken and the uncertainties he is in. In this process, Sami not only copes with the virus, but also examines concepts such as loneliness, family ties, love and death.
