The Enchantment

Warren Tan is a successful businessman who has been widowed for five years. Iris Avey takes a post as an English teacher in an Asian country. She is hoping that her fiancé, who is wheeling and dealing in Germany, will join her to enjoy the country before they settle down and marry. Warren and Iris meet. Warren has been secluded in his thoughts and feelings since the death of his wife, but meeting Iris reopens his heart. His staid life is put into turmoil when her signs toward him say one thing and her reactions say another. As she becomes immersed in the local way of life and experiences new friendships, generosity, and freedom, Iris is also put into a precarious position of where her heart should be.
