Secret Ashes (2022)

Omri meets Emy to collect the final payment for a job she asked him to complete. As he approaches her place of business, he reminisces about one of the beautiful times he spent with her. When he arrives, Emy pry's for details about the completed job, but Omri fights her off, regretting that he agreed to help her in the first place. She desperately insists and he continues to object, as the conversation grows more and more tense. She pays him what she owes but as he heads out to leave, Emy stops him once more in her attempt to share a matter she's been keeping from him. She decides not to tell him due to his cold treatment. Omri leaves and decides to do one last thing for Emy. He completes the job she asked for. As he walks away, Emy texts him a voice memo that reveals what she was going to tell him in person, changing the course of their lives forever. Omri is left shocked.
