Pivot (2022)

Liam is a single father who wants a better life for himself and his baby daughter. When Liam catches wind of an NBA try out, he request for time off but his pain in the ass boss demands that he shows up for his shift. Liam refuses to work, so his boss refuses to give him his check that he needs to pay the fee for his tryouts. In desperate need of money, Liam breaks into the store and takes his check. On the way out, he slips on a leak and hits his head and injures his foot. With a bum foot, he's brokenhearted that his chance at fame has slipped away. His mom encourages him to keep hustling and do the right thing. Liam holds his head up and remembers that he's doing it all for a better life for his baby girl. He returns back to work to ensure a bright future for his family.
