No More Secrets

Due to either birth defects, injury, inflammatory bowel diseases or cancer, an Ostomy surgery is performed where the infected part in the lower abdomen is cut off and instead an artificial opening is created on the surface of the abdomen. The opening is called a Stoma. More than 3 Lakh registered Ostomates reside in India yet the awareness about this life saving surgery is almost non existent. There is a need to start a national conversation about Ostomy and that's why The Secret Bag, started by Anisha Vijayan, has made this documentary.
