Stalkers of Chernobyl (2022)

Four friends travel from their individual countries to meet in the city of Kyiv, where they embark on a journey into the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. They are dropped off in a "Stalker Taxi" at the edge of the exclusion zone, where they walk a day and a half over 50 kilometers, to the outskirts of Pripyat city. After being intercepted by zone security they are taken to a hotel in Chernobyl town where they spend the night. The following morning they are driven out of the zone as the realization of their failure set in. The four decide that they don't want to leave the country without a memory of something fun and freight car hop out of Kyiv on a days excursion. Months pass after the initial trip and they decide to try the zone a second time. Unfortunately right before departing to Ukraine their friend and guide, Misha, steps on a nail making him unable to walk to Pripyat. Matt phones checkmate and Michelle asking if they still want to attempt to go to Pripyat in spite of not having a guide. The trio all agree to attempt to do it on their own. After a day and a half crossing the river, hiking through rough terrain, sleeping in the radiated forest, and being chased by wild dogs, they finally make it to Pripyat.
