Image of a Wife (1939)

A chemical scientist mocks his wife. She is unable to resist the violence and tries to commit suicide. The thief who entered their apartment became an unwitting witness to this scene and stopped her attempt to commit suicide. From the subsequent explanations of the unfortunate woman, the robber learns that she is his younger sister, from whom he separated many years ago. They leave this house together, and subsequently the younger sister begins to help her brother in his robberies. One day, her husband dies from drug poisoning during his research, and her brother is arrested by the police.
