Junko Harumi passed with top grades in school, but she put all her passion into passing and since then she has been leading a dull and aimless life, without even getting a job. Then she meets Yuri Kyohei, a young delinquent student who has been getting lousy grades, and is dismissed by all as worthless. Junko takes it on herself to prove that he can make it intellectually, and while she finds the challenge to be a worthy and interesting one, she starts getting interested in Yuri too.
