During a large part of Season 1, there is a club where Alfred occasionally works but where numerous meetings occur. The club is called The Scarlet Rope, which is essentially in the red light district, and is basically a cabaret. There are dancers seen with tassels over their nipples. Female workers are in revealing outfits. The exterior of the club is shown several times and exotic themes can be seen in the background.

Lots of violence and blood including occasional gore

Frequent drinking and smoking.

Drugging of female and male characters. Cocaine usage in first episode.

Scenes of people being tortured and execution scene in 2nd episode is very violent and gory.

Criminals are seen in stockades being harassed. People are also shown hanging from lampposts.
