The series revolves around a serial killer who kills people by cutting them open and putting seemingly random items into their torsos. However, this isn't shown too graphically. It is usually shown in flashes, or obscured by dim lighting or the killer in standing in the way. Some blood, but not shown often.

Harper puts his hands around a woman's neck and tries to strangle her, however, he is interrupted. They fall through glass but appear to be unharmed.

A bloated corpse is briefly shown in a morgue. Only shown very briefly.

Dan is an alcoholic. This isn't glamorized at all, and his son is disappointed in him.

Harper corners a girl in a storage room and threatens her. He is shown following her down a dark hallway, and she is obviously terrified. However, he leaves without hurting her.

At different points in the show, Harper approaches children and starts a conversation with them, sometimes gifting them small toys. However, this is only intense because the audience knows what Harper is capable of. He doesn't hurt the children.

Harper frequently stalks people, sometimes eventually killing them.

A bee's wings are torn off out of senseless cruelty.

A man pushes a woman onto a bed and holds her down. Implied rape, but nothing is shown beyond this.
