Throughout the series it's implied that Lily has a crush on Peter, who also reciprocates these feelings. The two occasionally, but mildly flirt and embrace. Since this is a children's show, there's nothing too sappy.

Some suggestive movements

Every now and again there is a rare glimpse of Lily and Peter's affectionate but shy puppy love. Occasional mild flirting between Peter and Lily. Several passionate embraces are seen between them, Benjamin and the other deuteragonists. Also a few kisses between the rabbits and their parents.

The predators are always on the verge of cooking and devouring the protagonists (a trio of rabbits) and are seen chasing them throughout. Sometimes they succeed in trapping them but never once do they devour them.

Peter and his entourage face dangers from Mr. McGregor and Mr. Tod, both of whom talk in flowery terms about serving up the rabbits for dinner. Many times they're chased out of the man's garden by him or his cat, or they're tricked into treacherous situations by the fox, and in some cases they're caught, bound, and tossed into a stew pot before escaping.

Perhaps the most used word is "oaf" by Mr. Tod, a British word meaning "idiot". Not much else excluding "horrible", "nasty", "bully", "snivelling", "wretched", "overgrown", "blasted", "nincompoop", and "silly".

Out of the animal antagonists Mr. Tod is the one who poses the biggest threat as he actively hunts down Peter and others with the intention of devouring them, and is also the most physically threatening of any who attempt to do so. This may be scary to some younger viewers.

The protagonists encounter with the predators (Mr. McGregor, Mr. Tod, Tommy Brock and Old Brown) can be a bit frightening, scary and intense to youngsters. The villains themselves are cruel, predatory, and mean spirited. Their deadly diabolical nature can frighten some children.
