The older seasons are more raunchy than the newer seasons.

In one episode the main family goes to Florida, in the episode they go to a town full of old swingers.

This is a family show, but it does have some dirty jokes (including uses of the words penis and vagina), but no visible nudity, so some parents might want to think before showing this to young children.

In season 4 episode 17 Tina goes to a horse convention filled with boys and they are called equesticals

No real violence is shown, only slapping and pushing between siblings.

In the episode The kids run the restaurant Bob gets stitches but on the ride home from the hospital blood splatters on to car window and Linda's face but it's only for humour

Son of a butt,heck and dang are used.Damn is rarely said.

Frequent uses of "oh my God", "damn", "hell" and "stupid". Less uses of "bastard", "son of a bitch", "boobs" and "ass". Rare uses of "slut", "dick", "pissed off" and "douche".

Some mild to moderate language can get strong ("Crap", "Hell", "Bastard", etc). Crude references to body parts, bodily fluids, and bodily functions.

At bob's restaurant, you can see beer cans in a fridge.

This is a family comedy show. Everything is done in a comical manner.

One episode shows a man's bug collection running loose in the Belcher's apartment this may be triggering to viewers who have a fear of incects and may make some squeamish.

One episode focuses on Louise and Gene working on a musical about Topsy the elephant who was electrocuted to death by Thomas Edison. This may be upsetting to viewers who care about animals.

This show contains many different scenes and episodes that may infuriate and agitate some viewers. Main examples of such include the episode Family Fracas (where the Pesto family had gained too much of an unfair advantage), the episode Mommy Boy (where Gene had underwent an unsafe level of flanderization), and the episode Live and Let Fly (where Frond had immensely humiliated the Belcher kids).
