The general theme is the love lives of a group of lesbians. This includes strong sexual scenes with nudity throughout-including one scene with a strap on and vibrators.There is one scene, where the protoganist is seen having sex near a dead body in a morgue. In one scene the protoganists asks her lover to shave her pubic hair in front of her.

In addition to the characters drinking socially and heavily throughout, drug use is also potrayed; cocaine snorting etc. The main protaganist chain smokes generally.

One character passes out after accidently snorting ketamine instead of 'coke'. The main character stands on top of a tall building-its suggested that she may attempt suicide-this is quite intense. Their are also some scenes in a morgue.
