During a fight, a man says that he will shove his shaft into another man "all the way to the hilt". This is only in the original Japanese and english sub versions. The english dub replaces the sexual connotation of the line with "blade" but the sexual motions are still there.

An older man asks a child to remove his clothing. We later see the man leaning in very close to the child who is naked. We are lead to believe for a second that he was raped as other characters watched. This is revealed within a minute later to be not the case.

In an OVA, two women in revealing clothing are seen playing with each other's breasts.

A man often has multiple women surrounding him in revealing clothing.

One character poses in a sexual way before ripping open their top and having a white substance (mangosteen juice) poured on them.

A man fingers a nun (she is naked) fully clothed. This is very brief, sounds can be heard offscreen but the scene is seen as almost comical.

A character describes most things in a sexual manner, this isn't always the character's intent. The same character also holds their weapon in sexual way on multiple occasions, generally positioning it at waist height.

In an OVA, a woman wears a skin tight outfit, at one point, her nipples can be seen though it.

Three men comment on how they like the movement of a woman's large breasts.

A woman graphically tells another character about a dildo her friend was given (this is in the english dub, in the english sub she talks about preforming oral sex on a character, implied to be her butler, who is next to her). This is heavily censored.

In an OVA, a woman asks one of the main characters to suck her breasts, he declines. She shoves his head between her breasts. The woman later taunts the character by showing her backside.

One character preforms on a strippers pole fully clothed. They later describe their desire to engage in sexual activity with two men.

In season 2, a woman's body is used as a sword sheath. A man occasionally pulls the sword from her mouth in a manner similar to oral sex, she is seen gagging on the sword.

An episode opens with a child covered in lacerations waking up next to an older man. It is later revealed the child was a former sex slave.

One of the main characters is beaten with a whip in a sexual manner.

A child attempts to seduce an older man, nothing is seen.

During the credits of season 3, a child is seen being toweled off after a bath (his figure is silhouetted), a man leans down after drying him and kisses his head in a nonsexual way.

Sexual sounds and phrases are heard out of context, making the viewer believe the two main characters are having sex, this is later shown not to be the case.

One character is a demon dog, and occassionally mutates into human form, though he still behaves and thinks like a dog. During the times when he is human, his buttocks are sometimes visible, though something is always covering his groin.

It is implied that a child was molested. This is brought up multiple times in the second season, though the episodes flashbacks are shown briefly.

Abortion and prostitution is a heavy topic in an episode.

One of the main characters believes he is rescued by another character, who reassures him he is safe, before snapping his neck and then plunging him under water, drowning him. He dies instantly. This is graphic and emotionally disterbing.

It is implied a dog is burned to death. Very emotional.

To appear to have been murdered, a man impales himself with a fire poker.

Two character's dead bodies are sewn together, they are then lit on fire and the flesh melts. This is very graphic A character murders a woman with a large chainsaw, this is very gory.

A character is thought to be dead, his body is stuffed in a suitcase.

One of the main characters is cornered and later brutally killed by another character.

The main character wakes up stuffed in a suitcase.

A woman scrapes away part of her decaying face.

The main characters set a manner on fire to cover the evidence of their visit. It is heavily implied there were multiple children trapped in cages inside.

A character is killed in a battle. The body is shown later impaled and mutilated.

The two main characters work to solve crimes and murders, so many dead, and often bloody, bodies are shown.

A child gouges a woman's eye out. This is graphic. He is later shown to have her blood on his hands and orders the woman to wipe it off of him.

A man gets shot through the head and we see lots of blood spurting from the bullethole.

A boy gets shot through the torso and we see the bullethole and lots of blood. He falls to the ground and his blood leaks all over the floor, forming a pentagram pattern.

Blood splatters on a man's face, he licks it off and then becomes almost animalistic, becoming obsessed with killing another character.

One character wields a chainsaw as a weapon, and scenes where it is used are very bloody and could be disturbing to some viewers.

A man removes bandages to reveal his face after a botched surgery. This may frighten viewers.

An angel has multiple objects impale her, as 3 other characters attempt to kill her in a manner similar to darts.

There is a torture scene in which a man is chained to a wall and is repeatedly lashed with a large leather whip. We see quite a bit of blood and the dark bruises and gashes on his chest.

A man throws silverware at other men's heads and chests, killing them instantly.

A character is stabbed to death with a fire poker. He is later seen in a pool of blood, this is more emotional than gory.

It is implied a woman is blown up or burnt to death by homemade bombs and weaponry.

A young man's arm is cut off, he dies of blood loss.

One of the main characters coughs up blood and a handful of bullets, he hands the bullets back to the assassin

In the second season, a woman is used as a sheath for a large sword. Every so often a man will forcefully shove his hand down her throat and remove the sword through her mouth. The woman is seen in a lot of pain and makes gagging noises.

There is extremely violent and gory content.

Despite the recurring intense themes, not much profanity is used.

Use of words like "damn", "bastard", "shit", "hell", "arse" etc. A couple uses of "whore", used once in an insulting manner and other times in referencing a prostitute.

In the English sub, one use of "what the fuck"/"wtf".

A character refers to a man as a "pussy". This is meant in a sexual way and as a play on words as the character is dressed as a cat.

A man constantly degrades a transwoman by referring to her as 'him' and repeatedly tells her she is not a woman.

The term "bloody poof" (or "homo", depending on the translator) is used by one character to describe a transgender/non-binary character.

One character is frequently seen smoking opium.

Characters drink alcohol.

In an OVA, a character is seen smoking from a hooka.

Some episodes are centred entirely around the illegal distribution of drugs and the underground drug trade.

One character is a drug dealer and runs an opium den/brothel.

Some characters are seen smoking cigars and cigarettes.

A 12 year old boy is taken into a room by an older man and is gassed with a pink mist. He collapses and passes out. In the next scene we originally assume he is being raped, though that turns out not to be the case.

In a kind of conversion therapy manner, a 12 year old boy is strapped into a torture device and plunged repeatedly in and out of a green liquid in the order to wipe his memory.

There is a scene where a character is forced to put on a show where young children are forced to do untrained circus acts. A girl falls off a tightrope on her head and is seen being pulled away by another young child leaving a trail of blood and another child is purposely mauled to death by a lion. A young child is also nearly hit in the head with a knife.

A child violently backhands a corpse, trying to awaken the recently deceased character.

A potential jumpscare where a puppet suddenly laughs and grins very up close.

A woman opens her mouth to reveal the eye of another character, whom she found dying and then gouges out his eye. This is disturbing.

A young girl wakes up to an other young child's body being thrown though her window.

Multiple characters are killed, their souls later join each other in a sequence. This can be upsetting to some viewers.

A group of recently deceased souls reunite in the afterlife. This is emotional.

In an ova, two characters are ordered to take a character's soul in order to pass a test, that will decide if they have potential to pass into the next life or hell. They succeed, the character dies.

A child meets a grim reaper who has come to collect his soul.

The second season opens with a child waking up next to who is revealed to be his abuser. It is heavily implied he was raped. The episode is disturbing and graphic.
