One of the characters opens a sex shop to help couples who struggle with sex, some sex toys are seen briefly.

Multiple sex scenes, but no nudity is shown.

Constant talk of sex.

In one episode a woman is naked, however she has chocolate and sweets all over her body, so nothing is seen.

In one episode a main character is raped. You don't see it happening, but there are some flashbacks and discussions about it.

Medical gore, but nothing too graphic.

In one episode Violet gets a call from her patient. She goes to his home, where she finds out that the man killed his wife. We see a lot of blood in the bedroom, but only for 2 seconds.

When a main character is raped, she has a lot of bloody cuts and lacerations, she also vomits blood.

Sporadic instances of bitch, ass, and screw, as well as hell, damn, and crap.

A main character is a well documented drug and alcohol addict, slow hints in episodes leading up before full relapse. Drugs are shown widely in packets (Oxy), drugs are shown being taken, snorted, smoked and implied injection. Character is also shown high on many occasions. Very tactfully done though and not over the top.

Another main character is a documented drug user who had not used in years. Shows flashbacks to her drug use and why she is so sensitive about them now.

Drinking is common in bar scenes.

A character's ex-wife was a drug addict.

A main character is alcoholic.
