His Place (1989)

"His Place" -- "the soap opera set in a diner" -- is a locally-produced, internationally syndicated program videotaped at the studios of WPCB-TV40 in Pittsburgh, PA. Set in a fictional diner (named "His Place"), the camera eavesdrops on unscripted discussions with guests and scripted drama/comedy segments featuring the diner's regular cast, and occasionally features performances by musicians and bands.
