Season 1: Strong violence and torture.
Season 2: A scene of strong violence where a man is graphically impaled on a stick. A brutal torture scene where a man who the castaways don't know is brutally beaten and physically assaulted by another man.
Season 3: Strong violence and gore. People are shot, beaten, drowned, stabbed and more. A man is shot in the neck with an arrow graphically with blood spilling everywhere. A scene of gore includes a man's head blowing up.
Season 4: Strong bloody injury detail. A woman is shot and we see her bloody wounds in multiple shots as blood splatters on a mirror behind her and she screams.
Season 5: Strong bloody violence, injury detail and a suicide scene. The most violent season. People are eaten alvie by a monster onscreen, a woman is impaled on a metal pole, a man is stabbed in the back 8 times and a child is shot with blood spurts. Injury detail includes a graphic image of a knife wound and a man's broken leg with the bone sticking out. There is also a sad and disturbing suicide scene where a man hangs himself onscreen.
Season 6: Strong violence and gore. The typical amounts of shooting, stabbing and drowning as well as a man's stomach being stabbed a few times and his throat then being slit (graphic and detailed). A man is stabbed in the chest with an axe and the axe is then pulled out with gore spraying everywhere and his intestines spilling to the ground.
As a whole this show has severe violence. Many people are killed graphically and blood and gore is present frequently, though this can range from mild to severe.
Pilot features graphic scenes of a plane crash, including a man left danging suspended in his seat in the wrecked fuselage, a man with a bloody, crushed leg, an unconscious woman, a pregnant woman going into labour, and a man sucked into the engine of an airplane, causing the engine to explode.
The show is very graphically violent and gory, sometimes focusing on injuries in explicit detail.

A man shoots himself in the arm. A man is shot in the arm and has to remove the bullet with his bare hands. A child is forced to shoot an elderly man. A bear is shot with 9 bullets. A man shoots himself in the head (not shown). A man is shot with a harpoon. A man is shot at close range, even though he had surrendered. A young woman is shot in front of her father, as she cries and screams for help. A man is shot in the head (this time shown from a distance). A young boy is shot in the chest. Off screen, a woman screams and is shot by her husband. He then shoots himself. Many minor characters are shot.
Stabbings: A woman is stabbed in the back but survives. Her blood later drips onto the face of another character. A man is stabbed in the side. Some thugs are killed with a machete, a bit of blood is spattered on the weapon and the wielder.
A man is tied to a tree and punched by another man. He is later tortured by having shoots pushed under his fingernails.
A man has a serious leg injury which is shown closeup.
A man holds a woman hostage, holding a broken plate to her neck as a weapon.
A man sets off a tripwire, causing an arrow to shoot him.
A man is pushed out of a window, falling eight stories and breaking his back.
A man's throat is cut and he is thrown into the ocean. His body is also shown washed up on shore, with the cut wound clearly visible but not very gory. Other people also have their throats cut in other episodes.
A man is strangled by another using a cord or wire of some kind. A man is strangled by another using a chain.
A man is blown up with a stick of dynamite. Bits of his body fall onto other characters. Much later, a woman dies in a similar way.
