Their grandfathers and fathers fought in the Civil War, were sent to Spain, and lived through battles in WWII. The next generation has survived its own tests of will - the Afghanistan war, duty on the edges of the empire, and deadly missions in Africa. Our heroes are two special forces officers - close friends who share all the misfortunes that come their way. But they love the same woman, and that can't be shared.
