In the first episode, Nigel attempts to hand-feed a chainmail-wrapped fish to a Dunkleosteus from the safety of a shark cage. The Dunkleosteus' numerous charges at Nigel's cage may startle younger viewers.

in part 2 a giant shark jumps infront of nigel and when it passes he is gone but its not really frightening as you know he has 3 more oceans to explore. but later while the crew are all asleep many mosasaurs are seen coming towards the ship faster and faster then the camera is swallowed whole and it ends. (It is implied the mosasaurs attacked or killed part of the crew, thought is not seen)
