Tengoku ni ichiban chikai otoko (2001)

After screwing up a good deal of his life, Shiro gets a second chance from Tendo, a man claiming to be an angel. This chance, however, comes at a heavy price: he must successfully navigate a series of crises with his friends, family, company and girlfriend or he will die. The right path looks impossible to find. How can he possibly succeed?
