There is both female and male nudity in this series, but in first three seasons mostly in non-sexual context. There are scenes of washing oneself, changing clothes, treating wounds etc. In the 4th season, however, there are sex scenes at the level of softcore pornography.

In some episodes we have word references to sex and masturbation.

Since the action takes place during World War Two, there is a lot of violence and gore scenes. We have e.g. a scene with a man burned to death, a scene of killing someone using a chair and a lot of shoot-out scenes.
