The affair between a student and teacher is shown multiple times but is never graphic and cuts away before anything bad is shown.

Later in the series, two characters are seen making out

Lots of implied sex. Not that much nudity and not very explicit.

In all seasons, be made aware that here and there, there will be women shown in their bras, bralette lingerie tops, abdomen or cleavage baring tops, short shorts that show butt cheeks, and short tiny skirts and even scenes where women will dance provocatively on stages.

A relatively graphic lesbian sex scene in season three. Sex, oral sex, and a lap dance are implied and blindfolds are worn. We don't hear any sound from the scene itself due to a track playing but facial expressions clearly depict pleasure and orgasms. Although no nudity is shown, we see both characters in their underwear. This scene is intercut with another scene, dragging it on for about three minutes.

Characters are shown engaging in roleplay before intercourse. Refrences to kinks and 'being kinky'. A character describes another character 'exploring a BDSM-fetish lifestyle'.

Male/female, male/male, and female/female couples all shown making out with implied sex scenes. With a couple exceptions, these sex scenes are never graphic and are cut off before the act is shown.

A character is shown hanging on a board with multiple wounds and blood behind her. This is shown in front of many people. This is the most violent moment of season 2.

A main character is attacked by a bear. Prolonged shot of the bloody wound on his ribs as well as the character unconscious.

A man is shown dead from hanging himself. His body is shown hanging for a couple seconds.

A character is shot in the chest. He falls to the ground and blood is seen soaking through his shirt. Reactions to this depend on how you see the character.

A girl repeatedly bashes her head into a locker. Some blood is seen on the locker and she's foaming from her mouth.

Buildings are set on fire throughout the show.

Bully occurs, ex. pushing and shoving into lockers.

Overall violence is moderate and infrequent. But there is a few instances of R-rated violence

A main character digs her fingernails into her palms as a means of self harm. Blood is shown on her nails and hands.

Dead bodies are shown. Causes of death range from being shot and/or stabbed, drug overdose, death by suicide, supernatural, etc.

A main character is shown tied up and then branded. You see him wince and scream as the branding iron pressing into his skin, leaving him with a burn.

Characters fight, sometimes recreationally (ex. boxing) throughout the show. This can sometimes be very bloody.

Gang violence is present throughout all seasons.

Season two centers around a serial killer terrorizing the town. You see said killer strangling, shooting, and stabbing different townspeople. These range from being offscreen, to onscreen and semi-graphic.

A character get stabbed in the abdomen, blood is shown pouring out of his mouth and on the wound.

Majority of the violence involves teenage characters.

In season 4, a main character sets an intruder on fire.

Characters are shown with symbols carved into their backs in a ritualistic fashion. Blood is seen.

Season 3 features a dead body with a slit surrounding their ear. Wound is very graphic and is shown multiple times as a close up, as well as in crime-scene photographs. Blood is also shown pouring out of the characters wounded mouth as they also had teeth ripped out. One of the most graphic deaths throughout the show.

Surprisingly many scenes featuring characters falling/jumping out of windows. Some show impact, most do not.

A bloody pigs heart is shown in season 2. Many organs are shown, with close ups, in season 3.

Season 6 features a character getting shot in the head. The scene shows the impact of the bullet and blood/brains spurting out of his head. Fairly graphic.

Many dead bodies shown in the mourge frequently.

(Implied) cannibalism in season 4.

A character rolls up her sleeve in a scene to reveal self inflicted scars and cuts running across her arm.

A young child is shown bashing her cat with a stone. Although this is not shown, you do see her lift the rock above her head and the aftermath of blood on her hands and the rock.

In-show snuff films shown, a bit graphic.

A character had recurring nightmares involving a serial killer. These dreams feature violence, ex. Bloody amputated human limbs wrapped up in bags, the character getting her throat slit (doesn't show), etc.

A boy's dead body, beaten and bloody, is shown.

Ragamuffins, idiot and dumb are heard. Hell is also heard

Many variations of ass/asshole are said, as well as other derogatory terms such as bitch, slut and whore.

'Bitch', 'bastard', 'dick', 'ass', used semi-frequently. 'Hell' and 'damn' used throughout.

Girls call each other things like "fat" and "bitch."

Characters get hooked on a fictional drug, 'jingle jangle'. The drug is introduced in the shows second season and becomes a major (then recurring) plot point throughout the show.

Social drinking is present at parties.

Characters take prescription medicine, ex. Adderall.

Alcoholism is present. A main characters father is an alcoholic throughout the earlier seasons, the negative impacts this has on his family is shown.

A very minor character is shown dead; overdosed on heroin. You can see a needle in his arm as well as track marks on it. This is shown briefly.

Older characters smoke cigars occasionally.

Many instances of drug dealing throughout. This includes gangs dealing Marijuana, a buisness being a front for herion dealing, and teenagers dealing real and fictional drugs.

Teenagers are shown getting addicted to a fictional drug, called "Fizzle Rocks", with the effects including self harm, foaming at the mouth and violent outbursts.

A man hangs himself. Although him doing it is not shown, his body hanging is.

A major character is struck by a car and dies from the injuries (offscreen). Viewers are not aware of what has happened until it is discussed.

A female character gets sent to conversion therapy. May be disturbing for some viewers.

Instances of suicide, self harm, major character deaths, cults, conversion therapy, organ harvesting, monster-like creatures terrorizing teenagers, pedophilia, incest, cannibalism, and frightening sequences throughout the shows run.

Intense and potentially frightening throughout. Progressively increases in severity as the show goes on.

Multiple scenes of characters jumping out windows. Sometimes they come out unscathed and other times this results in death.

Suicide is very prevalent in season 3. Many characters are shown committing semi-graphic suicide.

The mob/mafia and organized crime is a continous storyline throughout the shows run.

Guns use is present, multiple instances of characters being held at gunpoint or shot.

A teenage girl's mother is shown on multiple occasions throughout the series demeaning her, telling her she wasn't wanted, calling her cruel names, blaming her for her twin brothers death and even sending her away to a conversion camp following thinking her daughter was exhibiting "strange, deviant behaviour".
