Optimism Bias (2015)

Chip is a rookie NPC who has just arrived at his new posting, a video game called Red Faction Guerrilla. Upon reporting to his superior officer, it becomes immediately apparent that this is going to be a very difficult gig. The assignment is plagued with bickering over internal politics by those in charge, and insubordination from the low level characters. Everyone is sabotaging one another in order to make themselves look better instead of working together toward a common goal that would benefit everyone. When the player does arrive, he ends up experiencing a very different game than was expected.
