Sam, Quinn, and Russell work for Project L.U.C.I.D., a top secret government agency that uses dreams to influence the minds of people with great potential. Each dreamer is assigned to a team of highly skilled writers that monitor the dreamer's life and use that information to create dreams specifically catered to maximizing their dreamer's potential, which is determined by a variety of factors, such as motivation, fear, and ego.
