The Samsonadzes (2009)

A Georgian TV show reminiscent of The Simpsons. Starring Gela, a family dad from Georgia who works at the local Bank. He lives with his wife Dodo, their children, Gia and Shorena, and their talking parrot, Kote. The show is made up of various plots which change episode to episode, ranging from winning the lottery to having Gela's parents move in. The show is advertised as a perspective on everyday life in Georgia, with character flaws similar to real life Georgian stereotypes, such as a love of alcohol or a more rural outlook.
